Suhon Lin
- Lin is chairman of Chang Chun Group, one of Asia’s largest petrochemical companies with plants in Taiwan, China and Southeast Asia.
- He cofounded the group with Tseng Shin-yi and the late M.K. Liao. It now has $9 billion in sales and more than 10,000 employees
- The name “Chang Chun” in Chinese loosely means “long spring,” and reflects the wish among the three that their bonds would endure.
Suhon Lin is also the 19th richest person in Taiwan’s 50 Richest List and is ranked 868th in the listing of World Billionaires. Mr. Lin has brought in his estimated net worth of $1.6 billion when he founded the pharmaceutical firm along with Liao Long-Shing and Tseng Shin-Yi in 1949. Each of the creators, who were also graduates of National Taipei University of Technology with chemical engineering degree, holds one-third of the company. Among its foreign company partners include Bayer and Mitsubishi Gas Chemical.
