Yuri Borisovich (Bentsionovich) Milner (born 11 November 1961) is a Russian entrepreneur, venture capitalist and physicist. He founded investment firms Digital Sky Technologies (DST), now called Mail.ru Group and also DST Global. Via DST Global, Milner is an investor in Facebook, Zynga, Twitter, Flipkart, Spotify, Zocdoc, Groupon, JD.com, Planet Labs, Xiaomi, OlaCabs, Alibaba, Habito, Wish and numerous others.
Milner was called one of the Globe’s Greatest Leaders by Lot of money magazine in March 2017, was noted in the “Titans” classification of Time magazine’s 2016 Time 100. publication included Milner to its “Power Checklist”– an inaugural checklist of 500 most powerful people on the planet launched in May, 2013.
