Roman Avdeev is the owner of Credit Bank of Moscow, one of Russia’s biggest banks by assets. The bank, in which he has a majority stake, went public in June 2015. He bought nearly two-thirds of a pharmacy chain called A5 then in December 2016 he resold it to rival 36.6 in exchange for a 10% stake in the combined company. That same month, he bought a big stake in publicly traded property developer OPIN from billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov; he already owned several residential real estate developments in Moscow. Avdeev has 23 children, 19 of them adopted. He is vegetarian and practices yoga.

Since he thought that there is no significant growth prospects capitalization in the business, he sold the holding for quite a good price.
