Finn Rausing sits on the board of packaging company Tetra Lavel with his siblings Kirsten and Jorn. Their grandfather founded Tetra Lavel, which invented breakthrough aseptic packaging technology that makes it possible to store beverages like milk and orange juice without refrigeration. Their father, Gad, bought out their uncle, Hans, in 1995. An attempted kidnapping of brother Jorn near his home in Sweden was foiled in 1989. The family maintains a low profile. Finn is reportedly a financial backer of the F1 team Sauber.
Rausing is a beneficiary of the family trust that owns Tetra Laval, the maker of more than 188 billion milk and juice packages in 2017. The Pully, Switzerland-based company had revenue of 13.9 billion euros ($15.7 billion) in the same year, according to its annual report. He shares the trust with his two siblings, Jorn and Kirsten.
