Philippe Ginestet owns successful French retail chain Gifi, known for its super low prices on household goods. Some 75% of the products in the stores reportedly sell for less than $5.50 (5 euros). Ginestet founded the company in 1981; it now has 444 stores primarily in France and also in Belgium and Spain, and revenues of nearly $1.3 billion. Ginsestet has said he aims to have 1,000 stores by 2025. His son Alexandre also works at the company.
