Tsai Eng-meng (Chinese: 蔡衍明; pinyin: Cài Yǎnmíng; birthed 1957) is a Taiwanese business person, chairman of the junk food firm China. He is presently the wealthiest in Taiwan.
Early life
Tsai was birthed in 1957, in Datong Area, Taipei, the child of Tsai A-Shi, that established a canned fish company in 1962.
Job
Tsai prospered his papa as chairman of Want in 1987.
Inning accordance with Forbes, Tsai Eng-meng has a total assets of $5.9 billion, since January 2017.
Individual life
He stays in Shanghai. His older child, Kevin Tsai runs the family members’s media empire of TELEVISION terminals as well as papers. His more youthful child Matthew Tsai (Tsai Wang-Chia, birthed 1984) is the principal running officer of Need China.
Tsai is chairman of Want Want China Holdings, the world’s largest maker of rice crackers. The Shanghai-based manufacturer produces snack food, beverages and packing materials, and reported revenue of 20.3 billion yuan ($3.1 billion) in a year by March 31, 2018. Tsai also owns China Times Group, a closely held news business.
