Xu Jiayin (Chinese: 许家印; born 1958), or Hui Ka Yan in Cantonese, is a Chinese businessman, chairman of Evergrande Group, a Chinese real estate developer. Evergrande’s debt to equity ratio peaked at over 170% in 2011. It was over 150% at the end of 2015. It is higher than most Chinese listed real estate companies. Its most recent acquisitions are from Hong Kong-based New World Development.
