Suna Kirac is the youngest daughter of the founder of Koc Holding, Vehbi Koc. A bellwether of the Istanbul Stock Exchange, Koc Holding has participations in key businesses that comprise Koc Group, which operates in four main sectors: energy, automotive, durable consumer goods and finance. Other group activities include technology, food, retail, agriculture and shipbuilding. Having become ill in 2000 with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), also known as Lou Gherig’s disease, Suna Kirac can only communicate with her eyes. With her husband she founded the Pera Museum, which exhibits historic weight and measures, tiles, ceramics and orientalist paintings. Her brother Rahmi Koc and sister Semahat Arsel are also billionaires.

Turkish businesswoman Suna Kirac is the Vice Chairman and Director of Koc Holding, with an estimated net worth of $2.6 billion as of March 2013. According to Forbes, she is the ninth wealthiest person in Turkey, and 554th in the world.

Kirac was born in 1941 in Ankara. She is the youngest daughter of Vehbi Koc, the founder of Koc Holding. The company was founded in 1926 and is headquartered in Nakkastepe, Istanbul. She has held various positions in the family company.
