Lin Tianfu – Billionaire

• Lin Tianfu chairs Guirenniao, an athletic footwear and apparel maker that went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in 2014.
• Lin launched his “Guirenniao” shoe brand in 2002 and mainly sells his products in second-tier Chinese cities.

Lin is the president of Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone maker that competes with Apple and Samsung. The Beijing-based company had revenue of 114 billion yuan ($18 billion) in 2017 from the sale of its smartphones, software applications and consumer electronics. Lin has previously been employed at both Microsoft and Google.
