Japanese businessman Masahiro Miki has an estimated net worth of $3.9 billion as of April 2016, according to Forbes. He amassed most of his wealth from his successful retail business. As of March 2013, he was named by Forbes as Japan’s tenth richest man. Masahiro Miki is known to be founder of discount shoe retailer, ABC-Mart. He founded the retailing company in 1985. Just last year, the company spent $138 million for the acquisition of the NASDAQ-listed LaCrosse Footwear which specializes in producing premium quality outdoor and work footwear. He plans of expanding LaCrosse’s operation in Europe and Asia as it continues to grow in around 680 stores across Japan, and 120 more stores in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea.
